Legal
We're a small studio. When you get in touch, your information comes to us, we use it to reply, and that's really the whole of it. This page just makes that official.
It's written to meet the requirements of the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Only what you give us. Usually that's your name, your email, and whatever you've written in your message. Sometimes an organisation name or a note about the kind of project you have in mind. We don't go looking for anything else.
We don't collect sensitive personal information, and we don't collect information from anyone under 18.
We use it to reply to you, talk through a project, or do the work you've hired us for. We don't add you to any lists without asking. We don't sell your details. We don't use your information for advertising of any kind.
Our contact form runs through Web3Forms, which handles the secure delivery of your message to our inbox. They have their own privacy policy covering how they handle data in transit.
The site runs on WordPress, hosted through 10Web. Like any web host, their servers keep standard logs covering things like IP addresses and browser type, for security and performance reasons. Nothing in those logs is tied to individuals or kept longer than it needs to be.
We use cookies for analytics and site performance. This includes tools that track general usage patterns and record session behaviour, to help us understand how the site is being used. None of this is used for advertising, and none of it is tied to personally identifiable information. If you switch cookies off, the site will still work fine.
Everything sent through our contact form travels over HTTPS. We keep your information only as long as we need it and take reasonable steps to protect it. There's no corporate data infrastructure here. It's just us.
If you want to know what we hold about you, or something needs correcting, just email us. We'll get back to you within 30 days.
Under the GDPR you have the right to have your data erased, to restrict how we use it, and to take it elsewhere. If any of that's relevant to you, get in touch and we'll sort it out.
If this policy changes, we'll update the page. We don't expect it to change much.
Anything privacy-related, just email us. We're in Sydney and we read our email.
